Do y’all know about Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Rolls? They are DIVINE!! At our house, if we’re slumming it, we eat Pillsbury. If we’re riding high, we eat Sister’s . Sweet Pea asked for them this weekend, so on Sunday morning we heated up a pan full of goodness. As she’s sitting at the table, I hear her singing:
Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Rolls…………………………..
They make ‘em so they never get burned
No they never get burned
That’s what they do…………………..
Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Rolls………………..
If you’ve ever had ‘em, you know what she’s singing about. Cinnamony-Icingy deliciousness. Apparently she feels that my Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are too brown. What can I say, I tend to slightly overcook stuff. But it’s not my fault. My oven gets too hot. All three ovens I’ve ever had have gotten too hot, see??
Nonetheless, she seems to appreciate that Sister’s cannot be over-browned. Hadn’t thought of it, but I appreciate it too. Katy-proof cinnamon rolls? Now that’s a divine intervention!!

I LOVE SISTER SCHUBERT! I haven’t tried the cinnamon rolls, but we always get the yeast rolls for dinner. LOVE IT!

I just knew we shared some sort of cosmic connection and here it is…our love for S.S. rolls!! YES, her cinnamon rolls are fabulous and so are her sausage wraps. Here’s how much of a gourmet cook I am…for “special mornings” (usually spent by the fire) we have Sister Schubert’s cinnamon rolls and sausage wraps. They’ve even become our family tradion breakfast for crack of dawn Christmas present opening! Yum, yum and YUM!!

I’m with you – Sister Schubert’s are the best! We like their sausage rolls, too.

We loved your cinnamon rolls when we were spending the winter in Florida/ Can’t find them anywhere close to our home in Northern Virginia. Can find the plain yeast rolls, but no cinnamon rolls. Harris Teeter has them, I think, but that is a 30 mile round trip. We have Safeway, Giant, Wallmart (not their superstore, but they have your yeast rolls), Wegmans, Fresh Foods. Most of the stores near here have Rhodes cinnamon rolls and they don’t begin to compare to yours. In fact I threw them out after trying them. Not worth keeping.
